2024 Elementary School Championship

February 29 - March 3, 2024

Stroud Curling Club, Innisfil

EVENT INFO

Stroud Curling Club boasts a vibrant youth curling program and is excited to bring an inclusive, fun and welcoming event to life in 2024.

With several divisions to allow for curlers to play within their own skill level, teams with years of experience and those with none at all will have a great event and go home feeling successful and ready to come back for more!

TEAMS

Teams can be formed by any combination of male and female players from the same school district within the CurlON boundaries. Players must be aged 13, or under, as of December 31st, 2023.

All players must wear a helmet, complete the assumption of risk and code of conduct, and be registered as a CurlON Elementary Participant, which requires a fee of $19.38 per person, which is half of the regular CurlON participant fee.

HOST CLUB

The Stroud Curling Club was organized in 1910 with E.T. McConkey as the President.  There were 15 charter members and each curler had to provide their own stones.  These stones varied in weight from 44 to 60 pounds.  Stroud became a registered member of the Ontario Curling Association in 1911.
