U-15 OPEN SKILLS CHAMPIONSHIP

Rules and Regulations

Ottawa will host the first U15 Canadian Rockfest organized by Curling Canada in cooperation with Member Associations from April 5-10, 2021. 

How will athletes be selected? 

  • Athletes will compete in the U15 Singles format using the Curling Canada Singles app at a Club or Member Association (Ontario) event. Scores on the U15 Singles Leaderboard will determine athlete ranking within their Member Association (Ontario).

  • All athletes will pay an entry fee before competing at the Club or Member Association event. Entry fee TBD.

  • In order to qualify for a Regional Rockfest event, athletes at the Club or Member preliminary event will have to score a minimum of 10 out of 36 points. This is to ensure it is a skill appropriate event for each athlete and that they wil experience success.

  • Athletes must be less that 15 years of age on June 30th the year proceeding the Canadian Rockfest Championship (In 2021 - Maximum 15 years of age on or before June 30, 2020. Born after July 1, XXXX)
